Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer who has been recognized for her stellar performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She won several awards including an Oscar for the film Piano. Actresses have a long career of involvement in Broadway as well as Off-Broadway initiatives. Acting has always been her obsession. When she was in fifth grade, she was cast as Helen Keller in an original play. She was born deaf in the one ear following a bout of the mumps virus, however she did not let this disability dampen the determination of her to become an actress. When she was in college studying drama and moving to New York City with her ambitions with her sights set. Hunter made her Broadway debut due to an unplanned conversation and Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated for Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Her first role in film came following her move in Los Angeles. Over the past three decades, since she was a part of the film Holly Hunter has been featured in a variety of series and television films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
